Kling 2.5

Kling 2.5 Turbo is Kuaishou's speed-optimized video generation model, launched in September 2025. It was designed to deliver cinematic-quality AI video at roughly twice the generation speed of Kling 2.1, making it the fastest model in the Kling family at the time of release.

The model outputs video at 720p resolution in either 5-second or 10-second durations. While the resolution is lower than the 1080p offered by Kling 2.1 and 2.6, Kling 2.5 compensates with significantly faster turnaround — averaging around 135 seconds per generation. This makes it ideal for rapid iteration and draft previews.

Kling 2.5 introduced notable improvements in prompt adherence, motion quality, and micro-expression rendering compared to its predecessors. Lighting stability and style consistency received particular attention, producing results that reviewers described as occasionally reaching cinema-grade composition. The model supports Start Frame input for image-to-video workflows.

Pricing for Kling 2.5 was set nearly 30% lower than Kling 2.1, at 25 credits per five-second 1080p clip versus 35 credits previously. This cost reduction, combined with the speed improvement, positions Kling 2.5 as the go-to choice for creators who need to produce volume or iterate quickly before committing to a higher-quality render with Kling 2.6.
