Data Deletion Request

You can request the deletion of your ZenCreator account and associated personal data at any time, subject to the recovery period and retention exceptions described below.

How to Delete Your Account

Sign in and use Settings → Delete Account, or email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you request account deletion, your account enters a 30-day recovery period. During this period, your account data, including your email address, uploaded materials and generated content, may be retained to allow account restoration.

If you change your mind within 30 days of requesting deletion, you may contact [email protected] to request restoration of your account, subject to appropriate identity verification.

If your account is not restored during this period, your account and associated personal data will be deleted or anonymised after the recovery period, except for information that we are required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud prevention or abuse prevention purposes.

Once the recovery period has ended and deletion has been completed, your account and deleted content cannot be restored.

We recommend downloading any content you wish to keep before requesting deletion.

What We Retain

We may retain limited information after account deletion, including:

  • Payment and transaction records where necessary to comply with tax, accounting or other legal obligations.
  • Records of deletion requests and related communications for compliance and dispute-resolution purposes.
  • Safety, moderation and abuse-prevention records where retention is necessary and legally justified.
  • A cryptographic hash derived from your email address, retained for the purpose of preventing re-registration by accounts subject to applicable restrictions. This hash is not used to restore your email address or account and is retained for as long as necessary for that purpose, subject to applicable law.

We do not use retained information for unrelated purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
