Collage Maker:Make a Photo Collage From One Picture or Many

Upload your photos, or turn a single picture into a matching set first. Then describe the grid, strip or wallpaper you want and get one collage image back.

What Is a Photo Collage?

A photo collage is several photos arranged in one image: a grid, a vertical strip or a phone wallpaper. It reads well when the photos belong together, with the same light, subject and mood.ZenCreator's collage maker works in two steps: Variations can turn one picture into a matching set of shots, and the Image Editor lays that set, or your own photos, into the layout you describe. The layout comes from your words, not from a template.

Why Use ZenCreator as Your Photo Collage Maker

ZenCreator works as a collage creator for both situations: when you have plenty of photos, and when you have just one.

No matching photos? Make them from one

Upload one picture to Variations and get up to 10 new angles or crops, built to keep subject, lighting and color grade consistent, like one shoot.

Describe the layout instead of dragging photos

Tell the Image Editor in plain words: grid or strip, how many panels, spacing, background color. It works like an automatic collage maker: you describe the layout and the model does the arranging.

Bring your own photos too

Already have the shots? Skip Variations and upload up to 14 photos to one Image Editor run. Photos from different sources can share a collage; the model adapts lighting and composition as it lays them out.

One look across every panel

Variations is built to keep a set consistent, and the Image Editor can apply a consistent style across a whole set of images.

Shaped for where it goes

Set the collage's aspect ratio: 1:1 for a feed post, 9:16 for a Story or lock screen, 16:9 for a banner, plus 4:3, 3:4, 2:3, 3:2 and 21:9. On Auto, it takes the first photo's shape.

Keep going in the same workspace

The collage doesn't have to leave ZenCreator: sharpen and enlarge it in the Image Upscaler, fix a face with Head & Face Swap, or animate it with Image to Video.

Picture Collage Ideas: Grids, Strips and Wallpapers

How to Make a Collage Online

Everything runs in the browser, so ZenCreator works as an online photo collage maker on a laptop, phone or tablet. Have one photo? Start at step 1. Already have your photos? Start at step 3.

1. Turn one photo into a matching set

Only have one good photo? Upload it to Variations, pick the panel shape (for example 1:1) and choose how many shots you want, up to 10. No prompt needed.

2. Pick your shots and download them

Select the shots you like and download them, or download the whole set as a ZIP.

3. Upload the photos to the Image Editor

Open the Image Editor, choose Nano Banana 2 and add up to 14 photos in the order you want the panels. Keep Batch Mode off so the photos go into one result instead of separate edits.

4. Describe your collage layout

Write the layout as an instruction: grid or strip, number of panels and their order, spacing, background, and what must stay the same. Then set the aspect ratio or leave it on Auto.

5. Generate, check every panel, download

The cost shows on the button before you confirm. Generate a few versions, check every panel and download your favorite.

ZenCreator Collage Maker or a Template Collage Editor?

Both give you a photo collage. The right choice depends on how much the original pixels matter to you.

ZenCreator: a collage generator you steer with words

How you arrange: Describe the photo collage layout in words: grid or strip, panel count, spacing, background.Photos you need: One photo is enough, because Variations makes the rest. Or bring up to 14 of your own.Your photos in the result: Redrawn by the model into the layout, not pasted in pixel for pixel. Say what must stay the same, check faces, products and details before you post, and generate again if a panel drifts.Extras: No templates, stickers or manual cell sizing; instead, aspect ratio control, several versions per run and next steps in one workspace.Right choice when: You lack matching photos, want one consistent look, or plan to upscale or animate next.

Template-based collage editor

How you arrange: Pick a template and drag your photos into the cells.Photos you need: The photos you already have.Your photos in the result: Usually placed as they are, then cropped to fit each cell.Extras: Templates, fonts and stickers you place by hand, depending on the editor.Right choice when: Every photo must stay exactly as shot, or you want to position each cell yourself.

Want an image collage maker that can also make the photos? Start with ZenCreator. For one new scene built from several subjects rather than panels, use the image merger page; for alternative versions of one image, see the AI Image Variation Generator.

Collage Maker FAQ

Is there a photo collage app?

There's no separate app to install. ZenCreator works as a collage maker online: it runs in the browser on a computer, and its mobile and tablet versions open in your phone or tablet browser. There's also a mini-app inside Telegram.

How many photos can I put in one collage?

The Image Editor takes up to 14 photos in one run with Nano Banana 2, the model for clean, brand-safe visuals. Variations can make up to 10 matching shots from each photo you upload. For a bigger set, split it into several collages. More panels means smaller panels, so check each one before you post.

Will my photos look exactly the same in the collage?

Not pixel for pixel. The Image Editor is a generative editor: it redraws each photo into the layout you describe, so small details can shift. Say in the prompt what must stay the same, generate a few versions and check faces and products before you post; if a face needs to match more closely, run it through Head & Face Swap. For photos that must stay exactly as shot, a template-based collage editor is the better fit.

Do I need a collage template?

No. You describe the layout (grid or strip, number of panels, spacing, background) instead of choosing a template. ZenCreator doesn't offer a library of collage templates; the Templates in the Image Editor are ready-made styles, not layouts.

Can I mix photos of different sizes and sources?

Yes. Variations accepts photos of different sizes and orientations and gives every shot the aspect ratio you choose. In the Image Editor you can mix photos from different sources and set the collage's aspect ratio yourself; on Auto, it follows the first photo. Uploads are typically JPG or PNG.

How much does it cost to make a collage?

Each tool shows the credit cost before you confirm, and credits do not expire. The same credits work across every tool, so Variations and the Image Editor draw on one balance. See Pricing for current plans.

Can I use my collage commercially?

Yes, under the ZenCreator Terms: commercial use is permitted subject to your compliance, applicable rights and the terms governing the service and source materials. You need the rights to every photo you upload. The license is non-exclusive, and similar outputs may be generated for other users.
